Direct access to an existing onsite Jersey Central Power & Light substation provides NJFX with 9MW of reserved capacity, allowing tenants the flexibility of power densities ranging from 2kW to 16kW per cabinet. The site also boasts onsite N+1 UPS, allowing for on-the-fly configurable emergency power distribution.
SSAE-16 SECURITY & 100% UPTIME
The NJFX SSAE-16 Type-2 datacenter/colocation facility features 24/7 on-site security and secure loading dock access, as well as Hurricane 5-resistant infrastructure and N+1 indoor generators with onsite fuel for up to five days of uninterrupted emergency service.
The NJFX facility itself is located at the point where subsea cables from the Domestic US, South America and Europe meet - at the United States’ easternmost edge - offering service providers, enterprises, carrier-neutral operators and cable companies direct interconnection options directly at the cable-head without recurring cross-connect fees. The NJFX facility also provides global connectivity to 200+ countries and territories as well as 99.7% of the world’s GDP by way of Tata Communications’ global subsea fiber network, one of the largest and most advanced in the world.

NJFX is the exclusive Carrier-Neutral Meet Me Room operator, host to two separate, interconnected MMR facilities: one inside Tata Communications’ International CLS, and the other inside its own datacenter/colocation facility, providing direct access on this campus for any and all to interconnect without recurring cross-connect fees. NJFX has established a new standard in global communications interconnect where network providers offer dark and lit services with dual entrances to the world’s first Tier-3 Cable Landing Station (CLS) Campus.

NJFX 2017 Campus Expansion
By expanding its campus an additional 48 acres, NJFX emphasizes its commitment to developing a tenant-driven community with purpose-built colocation and disaster recovery space, as well as its ability to accommodate space for future independent cable landing stations.With the additional 48 acres, NJFX will now span a total of 58 acres across Wall Township. The flexible site plan will include a new, two-story 80,000 square foot data center and premium disaster recovery space that will sit adjacent to NJFX’s current Tier 3 facility - just 60 miles from New York City - with a plethora of global communication providers.
